F minor has four flats and a deep, shadowed sound; it is a favourite of soul, R&B and cinematic producers. Its chords are Fm, G°, A♭, B♭m, Cm, D♭ and E♭, and the major C brings in an E natural to pull home. A♭ major is the relative major, F major the parallel. It is less common on guitar, which is one reason it sounds fresh in a keyboard-led track.
